The area around a meal has more than one job: it frames each place setting, gives drinks a resting spot and provides a way to bring small dishes to the table. Placemats & Trays at Direct Hotel Supplies brings these pieces together with a few practical surfaces for hot or stored cookware. Hotel dining and breakfast teams can select the guest-facing details first, then add the handling pieces that suit the way food is prepared and served.

Build the guest-facing setting

Round woven placemats, braided PVC designs and foldable heat-resistant mats offer different textures under a plate. Steel, silicone and woven coasters give cups and glasses defined places beside a meal. Choose the pattern and material around the crockery and table finish so each setting looks deliberate rather than crowded.

Carry food and protect work surfaces

A compartmented bamboo platter separates small foods for presentation, while a tiered tray organiser lifts items on a counter. Dumpling plates with vinegar dishes provide another serving arrangement. Behind the table, a pot trivet and felt pan protectors address hot vessels and stacked pans; these belong to the handling side of service, where protecting surfaces and organising pieces matters as much as appearance.
